An unforgettable experience!
It was an exciting three days that I will always remember.
This year the Swiss Under 18 Championship was held on my course, Golf Club Basel, 5 minutes from home.
I was excited to play against the best junior players in Switzerland and try to win at home where there are undeniable advantages but also a lot of pressure.
The tournament did not get off to the best start with a 75 in the first round, which was partially recovered by a 70 in the second round.
On Saturday, however, for the final 36 holes I played my best golf with a fantastic 65 (-7) in the third round, equalling the course record. The final 18 holes were tiring, both psychologically and physically due to the great heat.
I won the title by 2 shots over my good friend Julien Michel Fridolin who is always a tough cookie!
